AROCELL Super Collagen Bubble Serum Mask: From First Opening to Daily Use
By URICOSME Editor

Some mornings, your cheeks feel tight as you get ready to apply makeup, but there is little time to sit with a sheet mask on. If you want to add a moisturizing step, AROCELL Super Collagen Bubble Serum Mask is worth a look. You dispense the foam with a pump, spread it over your face and let it absorb, with no mask to remove or rinse off.
There is a little preparation the first time you open it. The included tablet needs to dissolve fully in the water serum before use. Once that initial step is done, you can simply pump out the prepared serum as part of your daily routine.
Called a mask, applied more like a serum

The product consists of 90g of Hyal PDRN Water Serum and a 0.4g collagen tablet. After you combine them, the supplied pump dispenses the mixture as foam. The tablet is part of the formula you prepare before use, rather than a bonus item.
AROCELL describes the foam as a texture that gently breaks down and absorbs as you spread it over your skin. You can apply it where you want without having to adjust a sheet to fit your face. Its application differs from the brand’s collagen gel masks and wrapping masks that you peel off after drying.
The plentiful foam does not make this a cleansing mask. It is a leave-on moisturizing step for freshly cleansed skin. Rather than washing it off, continue with the rest of your skincare as needed.
The moisturizing ingredients behind the collagen name
Collagen water appears first on the ingredient list, alongside several other collagen ingredients, including hydrolyzed collagen. Collagen water is a water-based ingredient containing collagen; its listed amount should not be read as the percentage of pure collagen.
If moisture is your main concern, glycerin, panthenol and hyaluronic acid ingredients are also worth noting. The water serum the brand calls “Hyal PDRN” contains hyaluronic acid ingredients and sodium DNA. Think of it as a combination of moisturizing ingredients, rather than a formula built around collagen alone.
Niacinamide and adenosine are also included, and the official Korean product information lists it as a dual-functional cosmetic for brightening and wrinkle improvement. Bakuchiol and gluconolactone, a PHA ingredient, are present too. Their inclusion alone, however, does not tell you how much firmness or exfoliation to expect after one application.
Allow 15–20 minutes when you first open it

Two easy mistakes are shaking the bottle while the tablet is fizzing and attaching the pump too soon. Follow these steps when preparing it for the first time.
- Remove the seal at the top and place the included tablet into the original water serum bottle.
- Close the cap firmly and leave the bottle still. Wait for the tablet to finish dissolving and fizzing, usually 15–20 minutes. The official instructions note that it may take up to 30 minutes.
- Once fizzing has finished, remove the cap and attach the supplied pump.
Do not shake it to speed things up. The brand explains that shaking during this stage can prevent proper dissolving and raise the pressure inside, creating a risk of overflow when opened. Once fizzing is complete, it says you can shake the bottle to mix the contents evenly before use. The timing matters.
Adding extra tablets might seem like a way to make the serum more concentrated, but it is not recommended. The formula is designed for the amount supplied. Adding more can change how well the tablet dissolves or cause sediment to form.
Use it first after cleansing in your daily routine

Use the prepared serum as the first step of skincare. The official amount is two to three pumps of foam. Spread it evenly over your face and gently work it in. You do not need to leave the foam sitting on your skin or wait for it to dry.
The brand also suggests applying two or three layers if needed. There is no need to start with several layers, though. Begin with one application and adjust the amount based on how it feels on your skin. Before makeup in particular, applying one step at a time and checking the finish makes it easier to judge the amount than piling on several moisturizing products at once.
If your skin still feels dry after the serum, finish with your usual lotion or cream. You do not have to make this one product replace every moisturizing step. You can also check the texture and preparation process in AROCELL’s official product and usage guide.
Make a note of the date you open it
The brand recommends using the product within three to four months after opening and activating it. This is separate from the unopened product’s expiry date, so it helps to write the mixing date on the bottle or in a note. Store it away from direct sunlight and out of children’s reach.
Even with the brand’s low-irritation test statement, you still need to see how your own skin responds. If stinging or redness develops, stop using it rather than applying another layer.
If sheet masks feel inconvenient but you still want a moisturizing step after cleansing, the pump-dispensed foam may appeal to you. Give the tablet enough time on the first day, then start with just the amount your skin needs each day.
