If you want to look beyond a Ceramide name, read this moisturizer in three groups. The Ceramide Skin Barrier Moisturizer 80ml lists five ceramides, two pseudoceramides, and cholesterol with fatty acids. It is a cream-step option for finishing moisture after a serum.

Five ceramides and two separate materials

The Korean list states Ceramide NP 5,500ppb, NS 1,500ppb, AP and AS 500ppb each, and EOP 1ppb. Hydroxypropyl Bispalmitamide MEA at 8,000ppm and Hydroxypropyl Bislauramide MEA at 7,000ppm are separate materials. Different names and units should not be added into a pure-ceramide amount. Small-unit numbers alone also cannot rank the finished cream’s moisturizing performance.

Read the surrounding moisturizing base

Water, butylene glycol and glycerin appear first, with squalane, betaine, cholesterol, palmitic acid and stearic acid elsewhere in the formula. Panthenol, allantoin and several hyaluronic-acid-related ingredients provide further comparison points. Behenyl Alcohol and Cetearyl Alcohol are not ethanol merely because their names contain Alcohol.
